Born and raised in Toronto, Patricia is a classically trained soprano who sings a wide variety of music from pop, jazz, R&B, to classical and folk. She holds a Bachelor of Music, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto.
Patricia spent her childhood immersed in music. In addition to choral singing, she also enjoyed performing on trumpet, french horn, viola, cello, and percussion. Always taking opportunities to perform, Patricia won several music, drama, and performing arts awards throughout her high school years. She also thrived as an instructor in peer tutoring, teaching in choir, band, strings, theory, English, and drama classes.
During her studies at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, she won first place at the 2009 NATS Ontario Competition, and was a recipient of various scholarships for voice, such as the Lloyd Bradshaw Prize for choral conducting, and the Bessie H. Jowett and Phyllis F.E. Jowett Scholarship.
Patricia has served as a faculty member in music programs such as the TDSB summer camp, Music By The Lake, and the National Music Camp Musical Theatre Program. She also had the pleasure of teaching at Toronto's Classical Music Conservatory, and the Yamaha Music School from 2010-2018. The best is yet to come!
